Tekka is known as 'Little India' of Singapore. Deepavali is an annual colourful event in Little India. Every year the streets are beautifully decorated to welcome the festival of light. You almost can get everything you need to celebrate this festival here and they are reasonably priced.
Tekka during Deepavali season is a heaven for photographers. The colours are pretty vibrant!
We visited Tekka last weekend to feel the festive mood and for light shopping.
