'Dangling Moons"

As we started loving DIY nowadays, Loga and I came up with an idea to make our Capiz shells chandelier for the dining room. As we are in the midst of surveying wholesalers list to purchase raw shells in bulk, we thought of using white mahjong paper to make a sample set just to get some idea the number of shells needed to make the chandelier.
Capiz Chandelier.
In what i initially thought is not going be nice with mahjong papers turned out to be really beautiful. Persistently loga helped to complete the project :)

I think we spent around $10 for this entire piece of art.

 All you need are :

1) White Mahjong - cut into circular shapes ($1.70 for one role). We used around 300 pcs.

2) White strings - used to connect the circular shape papers as shown in the photo above. ($0.80)

3) Double sided tape - To sandwich 2 number of circular shape papers onto the string. ($1.00)

4) Rings - to tie at the end of strings ($1.60 for 2 boxes. You might need more than that.)

5) The frame for the chandelier - $2.00

6) Bulp, wyre & connector - $3.00

Loga is doing some electrical connection before we could enjoy .........
